This concerns a 98 3.8 with an A-4.
So I'm getting some 3.42's from the "For Sale section. I know I also getting an LSD Top One a reluctor ring, a deluxe install kit, and probably a GranSpeedo since I hear that they work. But here's my real question.
Since I'm changing gears will the GranSpeedo fix everything? I know the speedometer will be fixed for the change, but is my rev limiter going to kick in earlier? will it fix my shift points? how about my odometer? and for the things it won't fix, what should I do?
I know custom programming will fix it, but I really don't want to do that yet as it involves a lot of money and I don't want to have it done until I've got several mods that need changing.
