    Noticed this the other day...

    Moved the shift boot out of the way and felt the metal part, and S.O.B. that fokker is hot. Is this normal? Not burn your skin hot, but left out in the sun hot.

    Absolutely. Check around your car sometime, you'll be amazed how much transmitted heat you have and where you'll find it.

      i notice more heat coming from my M5 when i don't run AC...get's hot as a mofo...sometimes it's almost to the point of burning my leg and arm...i pulled a penny out of the change tray and nearly burned myself...
