    i saw this and bout sheet myself because i have been wanting to put 3.42's in for a while now. Is this all i will need to go from 3.23's to 3.42's???

    What else would i need?

    Don't get those. Go with new gears, or you might as well go with a whole new rear end if you need LSD as well.

      I would never buy used gears. I also suggest not getting those, and buying new ones.

      When you see something like that in the description, that should raise a red flag.

          Thats kinda spendy....I got mine for $25 shipped with about 11K miles on them. I sold them with a LSD and as far as I know they have held up great.

            Yeah, I bought speedy-v6-camaro's used gears and they are doing just fine in my car.

            The guy that put them in for me told me they were used when he saw them and asked me if I knew that. I told him I was told they have 10K or so on them and he said that sounds about right and said they look real good.

            I am not sure why everyone says not to buy used gears. I look at it this way, my car had 52,xxx miles on it so my stock 3.08's had that many miles on them. Now I have a set of gears with only 10K on them. How could that me a bad thing?
