    Yeah big difference... and to be honest. Doing a rear axlw swap is a piece of cake if you have any mechanical knowledge... Everything bolts up and lines up perfect. I was one of the first few to do it on my '94...

    only things to worry about...

    93-97 shoudl stick with 93-97
    98-02 shoudl stick with 98-02 rear ends...

    only reason beeing the brakes.

      I was looking into getting a rear end off a 99 camaro with the 3.42 gears and LSD for $100. Only problem is, my car has traction control. will this be a problem?

          no you just need the e-brake cables from the 1999 car if you can get them, if not buy them or call
