I got a 2000 firebird that I bought used. How can you tell if you have the y87 performance package? What does it come with?

look at the codes (sticker in the door jam or glove box)

GU4 AXLE REAR, 3.08 RATIO

GU5 AXLE REAR, 3.23 RATIO

GU6 AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO

Heh that doesnt answer his question at all.
Look on your door for the codes.
If its Y87 it should say that
For gears it will be GU4=3.08 GU5=3.23 GU6=3.42
If you have a manual you have 3.23s

Edit-heh you must have edited it while I was typing this post...because you didn't have all that a second ago....
