  • Polyurathane tranny mounts.

I know some guys have these. What do you have to do to make them work on our v6? Thanks

You have to shim the mount about 1/2". The new mounts are too short, so you can use washers, plates, or whatever. If you are looking to buy one, I can sell you mine- I did my gear swap, and everything was fine, but when I put the poly in, the drivetrain became very noisy.

Most people drill the crossmember and "widen" the hole so that they can get it to fit.

I have never done this mod but I want to.

you have to elongate the existing hole in the crossmember so you can get the bolt that goes into the mount in, you'll see when you go to put it in...i just put 1/2" worth of washers to shim mine up
