Does the SLP takeoff LSD come with a new pinion shaft? If so is it only the screw/bolt that is on the thing before it's installed? Sorry if this doesn't make sense...Thanks

depends, some come with it and some come without it. SLP is infamous for sending "incomplete" parts kits.
mine came without, but it did come with new bearings. -
it will come with a pinion shaft in it. it keeps the gears inside from moving around.

one problem with this, the SLP tack-offs are no longer in "production", search around and buy one fast! i'm S.O.L though, don't have the money right now\'94 Firebird, 3.4 M5.<br />Arctic white w/ red anniversary stripe. ASP underdrive pulley set, Magnaflow 2.5\" stainless catback, CAT, Pacesetters, K&N FIPK2, 1000 watt stereo system capped 1F, Eagle Alloys 16\" 077\'s, 180 Deg. Thermo.Comment

they were just taken off regualr z28s and formuals that were transformed into trans ams and SS's
