Ok i thought it was my gears but the are 7.5'' 3.42 and so is the reluctor ring but my diff the circle part where the gears bolt up is only 6.5''!?!?! is that right? the holes dont line up between the gears and the diff and the reluctor ring almost goes over the diff? is that right or did slp send me the wrong on? thanks guys.

As I said before It sounds like the posi is wrong. your reluctor ring should fit in a way that you will need to heat it up to press on the unit. as for your gears, they should fit on a 7.5 or 7.625 unit.
I looked on SLP's site for you and I only see two posi units and both fit the 7.5 and 7.625 ring. I would love to know what is the missing piece.
One thought though. I know they make whats called "thick" gears for the series 2 carrier. I am not sure if the bolt size would matter at that point.
