  • Misc. parts for driveshaft install?

Just got in an LS1 driveshaft to replace my steel one.

Are there any gaskets, studs, or other parts I'll need to complete the install?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Word, like he said. That two-piece is a heavy mo-fo, don't let it hit your head. Bring a hammer if you have luck like me -- i had to smack at the rear u-joint to set it free from the yoke. The good ol' 88k mile freeze. I like my LS1 aluminum.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll be on it as soon as this torque arm comes in (Random Tech is being slow on shipping it to me), going to do both at once.

I'm going to crank the back up to try to keep the Redline in the tranny where it belongs - is the job easier throwing the rear suspension loaded or hanging down? I'm figuring hanging down for clearance, but just making sure. Call me lazy for not spending time under the car thinking about it.
