    Not sure about the 3.4's, but it looks like the spot where the egr goes.

      i dont think thats it its like a plug that screws in to the block i dont know it looks lke it had some wires on it

          Temperature sender on the 3.4's. It is the sensor that sends the temperature reading to the gauge on your instrument cluster.
