recalibrating for new gears/tires?

I have a 1997 Camaro M5, with open 3.23, drum brake rear-end...and 235/55-R16 Tires/Wheels

In the very near future I'd like to swap the rear end for one that has 3.42 gear ratio, a posi, and rear disks, and I would like to swap the wheels for some nice 18" chrome z06 replicas with 275/35-R18 tires...and possibly swap to a 150mph Gauge Cluster from a V8 car at the same time, and mod the tach to read correctly..

so obviously, the speedometer is going to be off. Since my car is a 97, no one makes a programmer for the ECM, what options do I have to get the speedometer reading correctly...? (and remove the speed limiter at the same time, if possible!)

If no one makes a programmer (make absolutely sure no one does) then custom reprogramming is your only option. I've heard it's a little expensive.

I'm pretty sure no one makes any programmers for the 95.5-97 cars....if they do, please let me know...

who does this, and how much is it going to cost me? :(

i have seen in jegs that there is a diablosport programer for newer cars and the hypertech power programer three says it can recalibrate the speedo and odometer, never used these but might want to check them out. also for custom pcm programing you might want to check them out they do a reallty good job on lt1 and ls1 tunning sure they could do yours a friend used them for a lt1 retrofit. they are very knowledgable. hope this might help.

hypertech, doesn't make one for the 97 and earlier cars....hypertech basically gave them the shaft, I emailed them and they told me they have had a bit of interest, but they have NO plans to make the HPP3 for it.

can anyone give me the website of these custom PCM programmers?
