Are you talking about the t5 connection on the hydrolic clutch line? if yes, I thought 96 and under had a cable clutch line..

the 93+ have hydraulic clutch systems. Also, you VSS on the older car was cable driven.

no I mean the t5 manual trans itself. like could it work on my 82 z28. the t5 is out of a 94 v6 car... is it weaker or different from the t5 in the 82 z28?

          just curious

could you make it fit, bellhousings different or could I just swap the housing from the 82 to the t5 of the 94 and have it work???

Different. I've got close-up pics of both if you'd like to compare.

The 3rd gen and 4th gen T-5 for the V6 are different.
Its a no-brainer that the bellhousings are different.
From my understanding, the internals in the 3rd gen V6 T-5 are weaker then those in the V8 T-5, and I've been told the input shaft is different.
