My car has benn doing this for a while now but im kind of concerned about it. It makes a klump sound. It does it when it is moving slowly, but not yet in first gear, if im slowing down to take a corner it does it as i accelerate, out of it. My explanation of the problem is probably hard to follow, but I dont know how else to describe it. Anybody know what the problem might be???

thats what mine is doing right now too, but it also does it when i jump on the gas at a low speed... it sounds like a broken tranny mount to me. i think runnin my slicks at the track the other weekend did it in-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com

If it is a big clunk that you can feel through the center council, then it is probably the tranny mount.
If you can't feel it under you, it could be U-joints, or your gears might have a little play.
There isn't that much that would really make a clunking noise inside an automatic transmission. If the transmission was so far gone as to start making a clunking noise, you would probably notice other problems with it too.\'96 Camaro Convertible

Yeah, at low speeds. So it is probably a tranny. mount then. That's not very hard to fix is it??1995 3.4-Blackouts, 3 10\" MTX Subs, High flow cat, Faze voltmeter & air/fuel gauges Kenwood 800w amp,80\'s series Flowmaster, . ....more to come

shouldnt be hard to replace. just get the car on jackstands, then jack up the tranny a bit , remove the bolts holding the mount, pull the mount, then put the new one in, and bolt it up.-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com
