  • How to chirp in 2nd gear?

I have a automatic transmission with 3.8+Y87package. I would like to make it chirp in second gear. I know I would need a shift kit. Whats the best shift kit for my transmission? And what else would I need to make it go "chirp!!"?

shift kit or a manual valve body teamed up with a more powerful engine

Nitrous, and a racing shift kit, but your tranny won't last long.

For some reason I can now chirp my tires with a hard 1-2 shift. It never used to do that, even in winter...

Oh well. It's sweet when I do it :D

I can chirp second with just a vette servo and nuts in place of the 1-2 accumulator spring.

Swap your automatic for a manual. That'll make it easy to break em loose on a 1-2. That or throw on some skiny tires out back.
