Is the manual tranny from a 3.4 the same as a 3.8? I have a 3.8 and can get a good deal on a 3.4 manual tranny. Will it bolt up and is it the same tranny?

I do not believe so. The 60* (3.4) and 90* (3.8) engines have different bolt patterns.<a href=\"http://www.fatninjas.com/camaro\" target=\"_blank\">\'96 Camaro Convertible</a>Comment

from what i understand -- YES.
the 3.4 / 3.8 have the same gearset in the manual transmission.
The difference is in the bellhousing. you will still need to get a 3.8->T5 bellhousing to make the transmission fit on your car.
