1LE or rksport aluminum?

I will be ordering one of this the beginning of september and would like to know which one is better?

From what I've read up on the 1LE is the same as rksport's but cheaper. But the 1LE is 2.5in. and RK's is 2.75 or 3IN in diameter. What will the two different diameters effect? ANd also is the driveshaft a good mod to do.

One more ? on the GM performance site it says the 1LE fits a 6 speed does that really matter?

Factory:Camaro 5 speed, Color Pewter, w/ t-tops and Y87 package. Engine: K&N filter w/ Whisper Lid, FRA, Borla adjustable cat-back exhaust. Hurst w/ Short Stick Interior:Oil temp. and Air/Fuel ratio gauges, System. Exterior: Black outs front and back, 18 in. Lenso rims w/ Kumho Supra 275/35ZR18 tires, also limo tint on sides and back. 173.2rwhp-----200.5tq

the smaller the diameter, the lighter it will be, and the less effect it will have at higher speeds, meaning it won't take as much power away from the motor by spinning it so fast. r u sure that 1LE is 2.5", cuz i thought it was 3", and the one on GM parts direct is 2.75"
