AKA Wheel hop .
Do you have a limited slip differential (LSD)? If not, only one wheel spins (tends to be the right) and causes hop. Getting a takeoff Torsen from SLP ($99) should help a lot.
If you already have an LSD, then it's usually a suspension issue that you can start working on with aftermarket LCA's, panhard, torque arm.

Hope that helps.

I get wheel hop, most do.

The LS1 guys swear by a Jegster torque arm, I am getting one.

A good set of LCAs' will help or at least box what you have.

Under hard acceleration the rear end moves around. The stock pieces, although good, allow for a lot of play.

LCAs (preferably BMR) knocked out all of my wheelhop.

FYI:

If you're going for purely drag/straight line, probably best to just get poly/poly ones (BMR is good).

If you're going autocross too, probably best to get like the LG Motorsports or Spohn ones: poly/spherical end as long as you don't mind the possibility of slightly increased road noise. They'll have a lot less bind then the poly/poly ones.
