Some may be able to flash your PCM to a Y87 VIN. You just have to find someone who has the same year and tranny as yours w/ Y87 and get their VIN. Call around to the dealerships as some are a PITA.

Every dealer I went to was a dick. I think the easiest way to do it is get something like the TechEdge mini speedo recalibrator. Its only 99 bucks (probably less than the dealer will charge you to even talk to you, hehe), and you can compensate for tire sizes or future gear changes too.
All gone :(<br />Best ET ever: 14.3 (I think)<br />----------------------------<br />Check out my site for exhaust clips, burnouts, and pictures, and the supercharger throttle body mod.<br /><a href=\"http://www.geocities.com/net_addict/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Click on the Firebird</a>

Just remember that it won't work on an auto.

Really? Because it's sold by intense-racing, who does work mostly on autos (grand prix and the like). I don't know anything when it comes to autos though.

The PCM still sees the speed as being off which will screw the shift points...and decrease your speed limiter too.

Who cares about the PCM
It corrects your gauges.

If the pcm still reads the speed wrong, then what does *fully* correct your speedo? How can someone have their shift points corrected along with the speed limiter in the proper place. In other words, what product will correct for a gear change before the pcm, not just for the gauges??
