My transmission is going in for some major repairs soon and I figure as long as they're going to be working on my transmission I might as well go ahead and have them install all my tranny mods at the same time. I'm going to be ordering the following things:

"Street Edge" V-6/4L60E Series 2800 Stall Torque Converter

    O.E.M. Zexel-Torsen LSD from SLP

TransGo Shift Kit with Corvette Servo from KDS Performance

Hayden Transaver Plus Transmission Coolor from KDS Performance

I'm hoping that with the LSD and my 3.08 rear-end I'll be able to use the 2800 stall on the street with no severe traction problems. Will I have any possible issues with this set-up?

You'll need a new carrier for the gears. 3.08s have a Series 2 carrier, you'll need a Series 3 carrier if you go to 3.42 or 3.73

You wont have traction issues but unless you have some LCA's or other suspension mods youll get some nasty wheel hop off of your hard launches

What exactly are you talking about? I'm not switching gears, I'm sticking with my 3.08s.

The Take off lsd is for 3-series carriers which are on 3.23, 3.42, and 3.73 gears. Because you have 3.08 gears you have a 2 series carrier and will need to upgrade for the lsd to work
