I thought the rear was stock. And as far as my tach being off...my car idles when warm at about 850 to 900 rpm's. I think thats about right. I got the car with 84000 on the odometer so maybe a few mods were done. its aboout time to change the rear fluid so when i get that done ill just count the teeth.

Id say if u know u have 3.42 gears which it doesnt seem like u do, check the psi in ur tires, I ran pretty high rpm with 255x55x16s but I dont remember how high, Im @ 245x50x16 now and it runs dead on for 3.42 @ 70

I have stock 3.42's and stock tires.

I get 1000 rpms per 30 mph in OD.

          1000 rpms = 30 mph
          2000 rpms = 60 mph
          3000 rpms = 90 mph

2500 is halfway between 60 and 90, so it should be right around 75 mph.
