Torsen Part Number: 409160-9032 (Low Numeric)
Torsen Diff. Type: T-2
Bias Ratio: 2.1:1
Differential Size: 7.6" (7 5/8")
No. of R/G Bolt Holes: 10
No. of Splines: 28

Here’s the link to that info:
http://www.torsen.com/distributors/4091609032.htm

Here’s what SLP says about the Paddle Kit:
New from SLP Performance Parts, this modified paddle-pin kit makes it possible to install 4.10 gears in any OEM or heavy-duty 7.5/7.625" Zexel Torsen differential without grinding the ring gear or center block. SLP strongly recommends the use of this kit for all such installations.
Can I still use this Torsen?

As it is, no. Series 3 gears will not directly work on a series 2 carrier. You'd need to get a special spacer to offset the ring gear.

You got totally ripped. Did he say what gears he was running when he sold it, or did you not ask?

I’m COMPLETELY pissed off now!!!
He said, and I quote “SLP 3 Series Posi unit from a 2002 Formula”.
Should I just get my money back?

This A-HOLE takes days to reply to my emails! I asked him for a refund the other day because of the “missing parts” and he said I was crazy to ask for a refund because of a $10 missing part! I explained to him EXACTLY what I needed w/ detailed pictures, and I even circled what I need! He said that I’m asking for the wrong parts, and all I need is a “bearing cover”! WTF!!! What does he mean by “bearing cover”?

Maybe he's talking about the bearing caps on either side?

http://home.hiwaay.net/~sbuc/stalkerv6/torsen-4.jpg

Or maybe the races that surround the bearings under the caps?

Whatever he says is BS, though.

I'd make some noise on the forums that he frequents...make sure no one buys from him again.

I'm just going to tell him that my rear end is a 3 series, and the Torsen he sent me is a 2 series. I will give him the Torsen's part #, and a link showing it's a 2 series. Because I know he is going to say that I'm lying, and it is a 3 series! Matt, could you give me a couple links to some Torsens on eBay that YOU think are good deals?

BTW, he is "Muncie4sp" on CamaroZ28.com

ok, recieved his real name.
whats his EBAY NAME?

sorry you got ripped, I did too.
at least, the pieces you are missing only
cost a max of $20 bones.
I can find the seller I bought my
"THRUST BLOCK" and
"RETAINING BOLT" from.
and see if he has more.
I think that slp paddle kit will be adequate.

you got the T2-R I think. I got a regular Torsen.

He doesn’t have an eBay name, only a PayPal ID.

I’m trying to get a refund from him, because I can’t use the Torsen he sent me anyway because it’s a 2 Series Carrier, not a 3 Series like I need. Plus he even said, and I quote “SLP 3 Series Posi Unit from a 2002 Formula”, and I had a weird feeling that this was a lie too, so I looked up the part number on the side of the Torsen (9032) which means it’s a 2 Series.

My Torsen is useless to me because it is a 2 Series, not a 3 Series as the guy originally stated. So I’m going to get a refund from the seller and I’m going to buy a Torsen that is a 3 Series and NOT missing ANY parts. Thanks for finding that for me, though.
