  • rear-end gear change (ABS)

I was doing a rear-end change and I forgot that my open diffy with 3.42s had the ABS reluctor wheel right next to the ring gear.
If I switch gears & switch to a Zex. Torsen do I need to put that ABS ring on?

Only if you like having anti-lock brakes. Could possibly set an SES light as well. It might just think the rear wheels are always locked up?

You need to or you won't have rear abs... And you'll have an abs inop light.

Just swap your old one over from your open diff yo your zexel torsion or just get a new one. I beieve the part number is in a post in the lounge.
