so i am spending a pretty penny(hey if you have it spend it)but i want to do it all rather than have to rip it all apart later
I agree... no need to tell me. After all my issues I said **** it.
new master
new slave
new flywheel
new clutch
new fluid
new pilot bearing
whole 9 yards.(also did ls1 driveshaft and different rear)
then 3500 miles later the transmission died, and I STILL had to pull the motherfing tranny out again. [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img]
I didn't do the rear main seal mine looked fine, and figure if it ain't broke don't mess with it.

since you there do every main thing what Eric have listed :
new slave
new clutch
flywheel could be machined
new pilot bearing
dont forget TOB.
new fluid
For the rear main - it comes in the kit , I got mine from napa. RMS + R cover ghasket.
make sure you dont use too much of the RTV on the cover. It could plug the coolant passes.
Someone `ve done it,
you would hate cofe with cream after that..
to replace the RMS you have to remove the door/cover where it sits. and you def would have to replace this. Napa have it, I've seen they do have a picture of in on the computer. Also I've seen a write-up on that somewhere , I couldn't find it anymore
my rear cover gasket came with my rear main seal. Its a fel-pro part number BS 40621-1 They call this kit the REAR MAIN BEARING SEAL
