well i got my gears in and i have gear whine on deceleration, the put valvoline synpower fully synthetic limited slip oil(expensive **** I HAD to pay for) well i went bak and he said yeah i was afraid about the decelration side or something he said he would have to adjust the pinion depth and i am going next monday to get it done!! he said with it being on the deelration side it wouldnt hurt nething and i could bring it in next monday and he apologized and said i cant tell ya how many rears i have done and this is the 2nd i will have to go back into but i will take care of it!!

Mine had the same thing and it just went away, then i changed the fluid and it's been fine ever since. I told my installer to make it as tight as possible. It's survived countless 5k clutch dumps so far...

Did he happen to say which way the pinion had to go?
