tranny rebuild kit on ebay??

i have the p1870 code and i need to have a rebuild buy a local shop.. i found these kits on ebay and wanted some input..

here is the first one, and here is the "high performance one" here

is it worth the more expensive kit and will they both work?? i also plan on getting a corvette servo and trans go shift kit as well. thanks!

I'd suggest the Performance Kit. If you're rebuilding it, may-as-well go with the best.

well right now my grand total is 845 dollars for all the parts, including:

perma cool tranny cooler, alto red eagle rebuild kit, trans go shift kit, corvette servo, TCI super street fighter 3000 stall converter.

i just know the install is going to cost a lot too.. any idea how much? take some guesses, i go in tomorow for an estimate.

damn, i wish i knew SOMETHING about trannies. for all the crap i know about everything else on a car its actually kinda messed up that the only thing i way i know to fix a trans is to add more fluid. what does a shift kit do and what is this corvette servo you speak of?

the shift kit and the servo all help the tranny to shift faster and not slip as much, as a result you get faster firmer shifts and it increases the life of your tranny because their is less time during the shift for your gears to slip and possibly grind
