well, you see my mods and i went on a 250 mile trip with about 300 lbs of extra weight in the car and i avg. about 27.6 miles per gallon. not bad--it probably would have been better if my freaking cruise control hadn't kept going into 3rd gear to go up a freaking hill. jeez--i hate that. but nonetheless, even if that had made NO difference and the weight had made NO difference, that's only 1.4 mpg worse than what the auto fbod is rated at--which isn't bad at all considering i run richer (thermostat) and my gears. i also got 18.4 mpg in the city last week--and i did quite a bit of racing too.
