Now is the point where my wallet is in fear. My clutch has been slipping for the past week now, so I've taken it easy. I was driving to the store and it wouldn't go into 3rd(keeps hitting fork). I took it out and tried again with a little more aggression. Everything was fine. I parked the car, got back in the car(forgot I left it in first) and started it(poped the clutch on accident). I pulled it out of 1st and turned the car on let the clutch out and it still tried to roll forward. I then tried to move the shifter and it felt like it was out of gear so I tried to let the clutch out again, it still moved forward. I tried to then move the shifter side to side..ha.. NO. It wouldn't move side to side(couldn't even get to 3rd or 4th). It was clearly out of gear though. I kicked the pedal and tugged the shifter trying to get some response and I got it to click into 2nd and then it freed up. I started the car and everything was back to normal(or so I thought). I drove strait home. Stoped at a stop sign and turned left. When I turned left I got to speed and tried to shift.. it was stuck. I tried to pull tug and it wouldn't shift. Angered and dispaired(figured if it's *ucked im going to *uck it more)so I mashed the gas and the tires broke loose. I pushed the clutch and something rubed I slowed down a little bit and my rpms droped a little. I let off the clutch and pressed it again and shifted into second and made it home. My 5th gear syncro works intermittently now. From neutral with no pressure on the clutch I can grind 5th like there's no gate or syncro to stop me. So does anyone have clues or am I in need of a new tranny? Everything is stock including shifter. Clutch is Spec Stage 1 or 2 can't remember been long time since bought/installed it.

4th Gear has no syncro now. On high revs evgine stays reved past 3k for about 3 seconds and when in neutral and coasting is about 300-500 rps faster than idle.\" Eat Rice With Pushrods \"<br /><br />My Car and What I Did <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1</a>

Back from tranny shop. Complete rebuild for trany including 1-2 slider 3-4 slider 5-R slider, seals a new 2nd gear, clutch, pressure plate, all new syncros, input shaft, and bearings. I'm all stock. When they put it back together I think they messed up with the install of the torque arm. Every time I apply the breaks or enguage the clutch or go over a bump there is a loud clunk under the car. I also get wheel hop when breaking or moving and cant seem to sbalize my car. Never again will I let AAMCO work on my car.\" Eat Rice With Pushrods \"<br /><br />My Car and What I Did <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1</a>

aamco does suck as... Sorry to hear the problems, honestly might have been better off just doing a junkyard tranny. I picked mine up for $320 and it shifts fine but I did have to ut it in myself. I think I heard NLP woudl do f-body trannies for $300... I think I heard, never spoke to them myself.-Eric<br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/mustangeater82\" target=\"_blank\">2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed</a> T-top <i>converted</i><br /><b>14.467@95.45mph</b> <i>$0 in mods</i><br /><i>The member formerly known as MustangEater8251</i>

The guy at amco said that the v6 F-Bodies were like "Toy Cars and mean no business" Apparently because the have a v6 they were not manufactured for performance? I wanted to slap him, but refrained. Thats my other reason for not going back to AAmco.\" Eat Rice With Pushrods \"<br /><br />My Car and What I Did <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2127313/1</a>
