Not gonna give out any #'s, but i will say that if you want your stall right on the dot then go with Precision Industries. They NAILED it on mine!
It was 711.something shipped, i ordered it last wednesday, the payment was received friday, and i got it yesterday (Tuesday of the next week). How is that for service? Let's see Yank do that.
hey scott you be at A&M this weekend coming up..i think im going to make a trip to college station and go with some friends to SLP day at ennis..id love to drive...err ride in your car maybe that saterday before...
Post the part number found on the invoice. It will tell you the specs of the converter if you know PI's standards.
I have both my converters part #'s and tease's part #.. only people I know of with PI's so far.
James, Yank does make great converters. They are just so pricey and the customer service is non existant. I know if I had a yank that stalled at the same place as my PI my MPH wouldn't suck so bad. :(

So, what converter do you have?
And mag, you are correct, very expensive, my experience with customer service was fine (but I've been told that is a rare occurance)
I agree, your mph would be higher

altho i agree yanks customer service blows but the product when it does work works good
im mad cause they suck..read all the horror stories about them.. they dont honor there warranty. they tried to ****e me over and makeing me buy a 4000 stall so it will stall about 3500.. thats BS..i went on to ask if they could custom build one for me...your tellin me they couldnt build be a ST 3500 that would stall at 3500 with my tq load..please..its called they were to lazy..they have no idea what a V6 motor puts out and where the TQ is at..they make a good converter but pray that it doesnt break cause then your **** out of luck..
and i left 3 messages with them and asked that they return my phone call...none of them were returned..they SUCK!! i will be getting a PI
Well, my experience with yank:
Called up and spoke with one of the techs for 20 min.
Then 1 week later I ordered it per my currect dyno #'s, gearing, tire height, vehicle weight etc.
2-3 days later it was made and I was told effeciency and torque multiplication factor.
$700 my car knocked off .7 n/a :D
