To have the transmission shop do my rear end swap (estimated 5-600 dollars), or have it delivered to the shop, pick it up with a truck (i can use a friends since it'll be local - but actually john let me know which vehicle youre bringing when you come up this way), and have a few people off of NJFBOA who know what they're doing come over and we do the swap at my house (10 bucks for gear oil, 5 bucks for lim slip additive, however much to feed them)
The whole rear right? If so do it yourself with a few buddies, some tools and some bud light :D . If you are just doing gears/lsd I would have it done by someone that has done it a few times.

Yeah put it in yourself. Who cares about technically, I'm 18, sitting in my apartment, infront of my laptop drinking a bud light right now :D

I'm having my rear shipped to the dealership, who said they'll do it for $200! About a 2 hour job. You do it yourself, prepare for a whole day job.
Sounds to me like you haven't replaced a rear...
I have done it, several times. Only once on a 4th gen though (Little G's car). Swapped it with 2 of my friends (Little G and NJSPDER) in about 3.5 hours in NJSPDER's driveway.
If it takes you and three of your friends all day to swap a rear on these cars, then all I have to say is wow.....
About a week ago noticed my brake lights not working also Hazards not working. Installed new brake switch and still not working, checked fuses and what...
