  • Is there a way to identify the stock converter?

I had my tranny rebuilt a few months ago and the price included replacing the converter, but I don't think they replaced it. The engine is strong and I know they fixed the tranny, but if I hit the gas hard, the car just doesn't go like it should. I figure it's gotta be the converter losing the power. Any for sure identifying marks on the stock one?

Hey butthead, did you see me mention CAT anywhere? No, I don't think so. If you don't have anything useful to say, piss off. If I was talking about the cat converter I would have posted in the exhaust section. Seeing as how this is in the drivetrain section, anyone with a brain larger than yours would know I was talking about the torque converter.
