havent done it but Im going to soon.. already got the gears.. they run about 200, I got tehm used for cheap tho..
getting a LSD for around 90
    install kit for like 110
    reluctor ring for 15-20
    and install 150-200

all together its about 600 bucks, I dunno if it would be worth it if I didnt get the gears so cheap..

3.08s to 3.42s is the best mod you can do besides a converter. you will actually like your car and wonder why you didn't do this before. my cost breakdown is like this...

              LSD $50 (auburn too :D )
              3.42s $45 shipped (11k miles)
              New reluctor ring $20
              New bearings free under warranty
Labor including programming from another Y87 car $150

ahhh the joys of having friends at dealerships. :D :D :D

I would go for a zexel torsen differential over an auburn myself, more efficient power transfer.
