If your gonna be doing a LOT of drag racing or *cough* street racing then go posi, if not the LSD will be fine.

      Not true

The ONLY reason to get a posi over a zexel is if you are making over 600+ ft/lbs of torque. Otherwise, the zexel is superior in every sense of the word.

Posi uses a clutch, and can at any given time put 70% of the power to one wheel (the slipping one) and 30% to the other (the gripping one), that's as good as it gets.

Zexel-Torsen however (lsd) has instantaneous power transfer, and can give the gripping wheel well over 30% power, and can even achieve a 50/50 balance between the two wheels.

So unless if you have a low 11 second car, lsd is the way to go.

Make no mistake, unless if you need the strength of the clutch type differntial, replacing a lsd with a clutch is a downgrade.
