How do you get the gear shifter off.....(Auto)

well I just bought a carbon fiber dash stick (stick on)...it looks great...that is all the parts I could put on...the only thing left is the man part that goes around the shifter and I need to get the shifter off to do so....is it just a twist off or do I have ot go from underneath...and if it is form underneath how do I get underneath....help please

there is a pin in the front of it, pull it out and then lift the knob off, make sure you don't lose the little pin either, its annoying to have shifter that lifts off(ARG) [img]tongue.gif[/img]
