Hi i'm looking into getting an al driveshaft and i'm looking at the ones from ls1's. I was told i would have fitment problems with my 3in exhaust? is this true. I really don't feel like dishing out an extra hundred dollars to get an 1le one. anyone know if this is true?

depends on how well your exhaust is mounted. i can't imagine adding a slightly wider driveshaft will make that much of a difference; mine fit just fine and i have 3" all the way back. -
