about where (rpms and speed) do you guys with autos and y87's shift? i shift at like 5700-5800 from 1-2 at WOT (sometimes it's different, just depends--but that's avg, usually lower if anything, never higher though) and from 2-3 i shift around 5500-5600 rpms on A NON Y87 COMPUTER. i was just wondering if my shift points were about right or what. don't know about 1-2, but from 2-3 i shift at about 69 mph. sound right to any of ya'll that pay close attention to the tach and speedo when shifting at WOT? thx guys.

I haven't really paid attention to the mph while shifting at wot. The rpms are right at 5900+.

Sometimes the 2-3 shift hits the rev limiter and I have to let off to get it to complete. Especially when it has already been in 3 and auto downshifted to 2, and is on the way back up to 3 again.

with a properly programmed pcm, isn't something not right if you hit a rev limiter? cause when my pcm was programmed right, i never hit any limiters--except speed limiter of course.

That's what I would think. When I had my egr valve wiring disconnected it was very bad. Simply hooking it back up made a huge difference. But I still bump up against it once in a while. Original pcm programming on a factory y87 car. Maybe the mods let the engine rev farther, faster, than the pcm was calibrated for?

Oh, and speed limiter, several times... :D
