Ok guys, my 99 Camaro has the stock 4 speed (w/ over drive). I'm wondering if I can replace it with a transmission that is better (that I don't have to worry about screwing up), but will function almost exactly like the one I currently have and won't make me lose any performance.
I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to transmissions, but basically what i'm looking for is a 'heavy duty' one that won't easily be messed up (by stuff like manually shifting an automatic (a big no no, but its just an example).
