• TC on the way

i decided to go ahead with one now..this is the one i just ordered from Edge..with a TRU-COOL adjustable tranny cooler...

Hello Scott, and thanks for inquiring,

I recommend a custom configured converter from our "Street Edge" series
with stall math set at 3200rpm and STR set at, or near 2.50.
This converter uses the 245mm (9.5") impeller and turbine (furnace brazed).
The 9.5" impeller is the most efficient impeller ever adapted into
performance applications. With 8 impellers and 8 stators to select from this
converter can be truly custom configured with no cutting or bending inside
the converter. This means better launches are a guarantee, better mid ranges
response is guaranteed and no excess heat or loss of topend, guaranteed!

All the gains while retaining 100% of the manners needed for every day
street use!
All wear surfaces are fitted for enclosed Torrington bearings for less
drag and improved longevity in performance application. The drive hub and
spline insert of made of 4130 chrome moly steel. The lock up feature is
upgraded using the latest "high carbon" friction and anti balloon measure is
standard.

Warranted for a full year with our 100% money back satisfaction guarantee.
The "Street Edge" V6/4L60-e sells for 440.00 plus shipping
Please let me know if you have other questions, or call us at 888 350 EDGE

gain? see sig. though I think I have all the problems addressed and will get times as soon as the tracks open this spring... pending any major breakdowns between now and then.
I have gained a whole lot of FUN on the road.

I've had my Edge TC for over a year. 3000 stall, 2.55 str, 96.8% eff. i need bigger itres than 255-50-16's I have. i can burn them easily from a stop. i would recommend edge anyday.

X2, except mine is 2800stall. With my open rear and on BFG 255/50/16's, I could only stall it up to around 1800...I was being an *** and tried going all the way up till it started to move, and popped it loose and pulled like a 3.2 60 foot or something insane.

I am VERY happy with my street edge stall converter, especially for the price compared to yank or TCI. I haven't ran a Tranny cooler with it either in the 8+ months I've had it and like 15+ track passes.

tell me what you guys think of this: I plan on running a yank 3600 or 3400 stall TC. My tubro will be fully spooled at around 3100. I'm running 3.42's, LSD, TA cover, and Moser hardend axles, sticky tires haven't figured out whihc ones yet. Think I'm going to have any problems with either the stall or blowing up my rear end???

just gotta prepare for the torque man..SFCs, LCAs, poly tranny/tq arm mount..im planning on launching at around 3000 - 3200rpms and injecting nitrous RIGHT after..cover the basics and i think you'll be fine..im looking into a few kevlar tranny components..as far as rears..if they blow..they blow..and that..blows

SFC, LCA, and TA have been taking care of already, I'll be ok I think I just have to make up my mind between 3600 or 3400

If your turbo reaches full spool at 3100, you should look at a 2600ish stall. You'll come out of the hole nice, and hit full boost almost immediately. Launching on full boost will tear stuff up fast....

i've heard from serval ppl that you want you stall speed to be around where your peak TQ numbers are, hence why i'm going with 3400 or 3600
