Well I think I might be getting a deal on a low mileage set of 3.42 gears with a limited slip so that might be my choice instead. All I should need to put them in is the install kit, reluctor gear, gears, differential, and get my PCM flashed by GM to a 97 Y87 vin right?

You also will need to know/have experience installing gears. If you dont line it up just right it won't be pretty. That is why many many people choose to just get it installed at a shop rather than do it themselves.
And you dont NEED the pcm changed...that would just be nice.Shawn<br />2002 Silver W68 Firebird
