I have the Richmonds, they do make some noise, but the radio covers it up very easily, it starts at about 50mph and goes till around 65 then it stops whining...its not that bad

I have the GM Motive gears. I had my gears put in by a very reputable guy. He says that Richmonds and GM Motives always have some noise because they are made out of very hard metal. I'm like the Richmond guy above, they are not that noisy and can be covered up by the Radio. I hear them at 40-60mph or when car is slowing down to stop, otherwise nothing.
