Bang/Shutter of Transmission

If I go slow, like 20MPH or so and floor it. The downshift into 1st is unfriendly. It shifts and makes a bang sound and you can feel a powerful vibration in the shifter. WTF?!?!?!?!?

id put $$ on the tranny mount. go back with a poly mount. Its like 15$ and u can get um at the local autozone.

My co-worker has a Z28 and his banged too, then he replaced the tranny mount, which had split,.,.

well I had the tranny mount replaced at a friend's house. All I gotta say is D-A-M-N did I tear the stock one apart. It tore the WHOLE thing around with the exception of maybe a millimeter of rubber still holding it together. Gotta love the torque monster at work [img]tongue.gif[/img]
