What internals do you suggest on an A4 rebuild?

My tranny is on it's way out. I've read on the board that it will run around a 1000 bucks for a rebuild, and that most of that is labor. So, for all of you who have had this done (or did it yourself), what did you have done to it?

Anything else I should look at? I know I am going to stay with the stock converter. I don't plan to run the car faster than 14s, so I don't need anything too extreme, but would like to have a bullet proof tranny to beat around a little.

Well, if you aren't planning on going too fast then vette servo and shift kit is fine.
If you are making some decent power then keflar bands, alto clutch packs
Hard core power, search for a recent post I made concerning my built to all hell tranny!!!!
Probably in the lounge though
