Hello all. Im thinking of changing the gears on my camaro to 3:73 rear end and adding limited slip. I currently have the stock 3:23 gears. I have read on the site here that 3:73 might be too high. Is this true for 3.4's or just 3.8's. Will it help or hurt my 1/4 mile times? Thanks for the input. My current mods are in my signature if that helps. Also would i simply be better of getting a take off rear end from a v8 model and what gear rear ends come on those?

3:42's would be better IMHO. With 3:73's your going to be running high RPM's for everyday driving with the 3;73's and unless done right a lot of whine will be heard.94 Quasar Blue Z28
http://www.9t4z28.com
http://www.9t4z28.com/Dyno1.htm
