I just got my lsd from slp and my new gears today I decided to go with 3.73's, I'm getting it installed wednesday for 275 bucks. I want to know is there a break in period after install to let every thing set or can I going burning rubber as soon as it's done??
also guys with 3.73's do you like the results and what can I expect from theme?
thanks guys

The general break in period for gears/differentials is 250-500 miles of easy driving. Go easy on the gears, no hard starts or any tire burning, and let them cool after 15 minutes of driving. Try to keep the speeds below 60mph if possible too.
Most people only can make it 50 miles though before doing something harsh to them - they shouldn't cause you any trouble if you happen to find yourself in an open area to do burnouts on :D
I, myself, admit to doing donuts the very day I installed my torsen - but thats not as hard as doing launches on drag radials or anything :D
Try to go easy on them if you can - they'll simply last longer. Its more important to properly break in gears than it is a differential (since gears are always contacting and meshing).
thanks dominic so if I wait about 500 miles and take it easy I should be okay thats cool question i drive about any where from 80 to 120 miles a day well that hurt or as long and I stay around 60mph or less I should be okay
thanks
