  • Hurst billet plus shifter...

Hey guys, I just got/put in my hurst billet plus shifter. The throw is a buttload shorter but i really wanted to get a shorter physical stick too. It looks like the stick itself could be swapped out for a shorter one. Anyone know where I could get one??

And where can you find this?

Oh and about the shifter, are you finding that it is more diffcult to get the car in gear. My brother has one on his 3000GT and it's alot harder to "find" the gear than stock. I've been looking at thge after market shifter for a while but I've always thought about this problem and how I DON'T want it.

For what its worth I used a Ls1speed inc shortstick, I got mine on sale for $19.99, they seem to be $39.99 now. Lou's is the popular one but all it is is a stick with some threads on the top and 2 wholes in the bottom.

it doesn't seem that I'd have trouble finding the gears...seems pretty sweet...did you try adjusting the spring tension on it???

I have no problems finding the gear, but the 1-4 are much tighter together.
