So, I have about 72,000 miles on my car and I think the clutch it starting to slip, (Original clutch). And I'm getting a good tax return this year, so I figured I'd replace my clutch before it dies on me. So my question is what clutch to get? I've searched here and researched online but didn't really find anything. So... I don't know if I should replace w/ an OEM clutch or get a SPEC. I'm not going to heavily mod my car. I also don't do a whole lot of racing, just the occasional red light race ;) I also take it to the track every now and then. So... I'm leaning more towards a good OEM clutch simply b/c this is my daily driver and I don't need/want anything too hardcore. I also want it to last along while b/c I hate messing w/ the tranny. So... any input would be good.

First, find out if your clutch is indeed worn out. I have many more miles on my car with the stock clutch, and it still grabs. Although I have a centerforce awaiting installation, it won't go in until the stocker kicks-the-bucket.
Second, if you don't want to spend the money on a spec, go with a clutch on ebay. There are a few deals out there that go for $139, and thats the complete kit...throwout bearing and all. If you don't plan on racing a whole lot, and you don't have money for the taking, than the ebay clutches should do just fine.

like he said....make sure ur clutch is really gone before u drop ur tranny.

id change the fluid first. that can cause the clutch to slip
