  • Drive Trane Problems Continue

    Just got back from the track and I have two serious problems.

    1. My Spec Stage 3 Clutch is not holding. The nitrous is just too much. It eventually grabs but in 2nd and 3rd, when I let off the clutch and the nitrous hits just as I release, it slips for about 1 second before it grabs. I am going to call Spec tomorrow and see what I can do about this.

    2. My sequenizer in 2nd gear is gone. At high rpms I cannot get it in gear. I have to let the motor drop in rpms before it grinds its way into 2nd. I guess it is time to rebuild the trans.

    The only good news is I pulled a 1.9 60 foot time, a new best for me. Oh well, I guess I won’t be going to the track for a while.

    5 speeds are weak.. I broke my stage 3 clutch!! One of the springs boke in mine.. can hold 600 hp yeah right!!
