OK, next major mod is going to be the Comp Cams Extreme 4x4 cam. before I get to that point, I need to change the rear main seal which is leaking like a biotch, and install a torque converter. AZ3.8 recommended the torque converter for an auto in his thread about his experience w/ the cam. Anyone have a suggestion on which converter to go with that cam (perofrmance daily street driving w/ occasional trips to track) and links to install info/ write-ups/ tips for either would be greatly appreciated.

torque converter stall speed is supposed to be based on your torque curve for the best restults... install the cam, break it in, dyno it... and get a TC that is arount 700rpm under your peak TQ. anyway, thats what i've heard for selecting the best TC, you can always go bigger or smaller, but thats my $.02

get the rear main seal fixed and the cam in. then dyno it, and talk to andre at edge racing. he will hook u up w/ a custom TC that will be matched to ur powerband. maybe even send him a copy of the dyno sheet. he'll ask for other mods u have done as well, and based on the info he gets from u, u'll get a great Tc within a week to 2 weeks depending on how busy he is. I am very happy w/ the TC he made for my car back in december.

anyone have tips on installing a new rear main seal? do you have to completely drop the tranny? Or, can you just snake it out and replace it? any install write-ups out there?

If everything has to come apart, that was why I was thinking about doing the TC at the same time. Thanks for the info on the TC's.
