In my car came stock with the 3.08 and a open diff. Well I don't have the money for gears but I wondering if I could get the 3 series LSD from Tybrne and use my stock 3.08 gears and upgrade to 3.42's later on, or do I need to get the 3.42's now? And I'm just gonna let a shop install this.

I found a 2.73 rear end off a 95 Z28 locally at a junk yard that would let me take just the LSD. Would this work with my 3.08's? plus that rear only had like 50k on it.
