While I begin to accelerate and I let my foot off the gas I hear a thud or some kind of thump, sounds like it is coming from the trans. area, I haven't been able to pinpoint it. This has been happening for a while. It doesn't happen always, just at random times. It usually happens when I don't floor it and just accelerate at a normal/semi-normal pace and then let off the gas. This only happens around lower speeds and I haven't noticed it at highway speeds, only at inital acceleration or quick stop and go acceleration. I had the 1LE aluminum D.S. installed and was hoping that it would solve it but it hasn't. Any idea or suggestions as to what it could be. The trans. is still under warranty but because it happens at random times the dealership hasn't been able to reproduce it. Any ideas or help would be appreciated gtreatly. Your transmission mount needs replaced I suggest getting a 1LE mount. Do you know the part number for the 1LE tranny mount. The one I found was 22146231 but when I went to www.gmpartsdirect.com it said that "this product has been replaced by a new part. If this item is selected, you will be redirected to the new part" the new part number that was given to me was 22201140.
