  • rear end change

I have a 94 v6 camaro with a 4 speed auto trans. and the stock rear end that came from the factory. My question is can I get a stock read end from an 2000-2002 v6 rear end and replace it on my camaro with out too much work.

yea its a simple swap, best way to go for lsd and new gears is the complete swap. I bought my rear end for my swap for $300

well I want the lsd differential plus I want to have 4 wheel disk breaks on my car since the 94 modle only has front wheel disk breaks. But where whould I change it off. Should I disconnect it from the trans and replace from there back or should I just replace the rear end and leave the old drive shaft on

Yeah, it's a simple swap, but how did you hook up the antilock connectors? The 93-97 has one connector on the center of the rear and the 98+ has one per caliper.

The 98+ w/one connector per caliper are the traction control ones from V8 cars. A Y87 V6 rear from any 98+ should work just fine. Mine swapped in without any issue with the connections.
Psykopig16: well the car will run with a broken crank..<br />RevLimit478: yeah, it\'ll run like a fat kid in summer
